Ah, OK.....I mistook these for newer versions of 604 with ferrite magnets. (Thought "H"'s were ferrite!)BUT......I did not know that alnicos were safe close to a crt........which is why my model 19's sit on the opposite wall of my TV.Originally Posted by oface1

Yes, the old 604's seem to be totally shielded!!
